SCPRSA Diversity Event - Nika White: Engaging Diverse America

SCPRSA invited public relations, marketing and communications professionals to attend a statewide conversation on diversity and inclusion. Nika White, Vice President for Diversity and Inclusion for the Greenville Chamber of Commerce, led this statewide conversation via lifestream and twitter using the #SCPRSADiversity hashtag.

Above is video of Nika’s presentation broadcasted via a YouTube live stream from Jackson Marketing in Greenville, SC to the two other regions in South Carolina, Columbia and Charleston.

This event attracted 45 individuals to attend in-person across three locations during breakfast, engaging a great online discussion with over 175 tweets reaching close to 20,000 people. Packed full of great conversation, questions were submitted via Twitter using the hashtag #SCPRSADiversity, allowing members from other regions to join this virtual conversation.
