CONNECT 2012: Choose Your Path, Measure Your Success

It's time for one of the most anticipated events of the year!  The annual Professional Development Conference conducted jointly by IABC-SC and SCPRSA will be held Friday, Nov. 16, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the South Carolina Hospital Association headquarters in Columbia.

"CONNECT 2012: Choose Your Path, Measure Your Success" will give attendees unique insights into a variety of communication trends and issues, from social media and crisis communication to measuring effectiveness and professional ethics.  You'll hear from top researchers and thinkers in our industry, as well as those on the front lines of the seismic changes impacting our field.

This year's event has been specifically engineered to meet the needs of communicators at various stages of their careers, from those just getting started to even the most seasoned professional.  And to reinforce the "CONNECT" theme, the day will conclude with a "Speed Mentoring Panel" where some of our most experienced communicators will share their wisdom in an intimate group setting.

But that's not all!  Because AFTER the conference is the REAL highlight of the year:  the 2012 SCPRSA Annual Meeting!  All SCPRSA members are urged to stick around for an hour-long meeting, during which we'll elect our 2013 board and get a first glimpse of our chapter's new five-year strategic plan.  Refreshments will be served, and there will be drawings for $25 gift cards to get the weekend started.
